Here and Now

VBS,
kid messes,
yelling and screaming,
cuddles and hugs,
outside wonders,
natures plunders
frogs and ladybugs.

How did God make us?
Where does He live.
Does He love us when we are naughty?
My heart to Him, I will give.

These are the things I have heard around here.
Amongst the playing and the lemonade breaks.
Cosmic moments in the sandbox, playing with toys.
Driving in the car looking at the sky, little children wondering why.
Why are we here?
Who made all of this?
When they ask me these questions.
Bliss.

Life has been busy, full
overwhelming.
Wonderful.
